The Decision Dome is the place where people vote for the games they want to play next. They do this by throwing chickens into a designated spot. However these chickens can move by themselves, essentially randomizing things.

Every time participants enter the decision dome after a game was played 4 teams are given power-ups. The team that placed last in the previous game is always given an item. Some power-ups are incompatible with others and can never both appear in the same decision dome round, e.g. Uno Reverse Card and Mega Chicken.

Currently there are two Decision Dome variants, the normal version of 8 games, as well as Twitch Rivals version of just 6 games.

Power-Ups[]

These are the power-ups that are available in the Decision Dome for every round of voting (except for Game 1 and Game 5, after MCC 4). Some power-ups may not be present, when the event takes place in themed events.

Active Power-Ups[]

  • Chicken Swap: Shoot at a chicken to swap places with it. You count as 3 votes!
  • Crossbow: Shoot at a chicken in the dome to kill it!
  • Cupid's Bow: Shoot at a chicken and it will spawn more chickens!
  • Fox Launcher: Launches a fox into the dome that eats up the chickens!
  • Mega Chicken: Spawns a mega chicken that counts as 3 votes!
  • Dunk: Shoot at an opponent's pod to completely smash it.
  • Ultra Adhesive: Shoot at a segment in the dome to make it sticky!
  • Paint Bucket: Paints the surrounding of the dome in your team's colour!
  • Fire Bomb: Shoot at a segment at the dome to ignite it.
  • Mega Chicken Swap: Sometimes wilful ignorance can be the saviour of your sanity.

Inactive Power-Ups[]

  • UNO Reverse Card: Flips existing chickens and makes them negative votes.

Modifiers[]

Occasionally, the Decision Dome may have modifiers that would change how the voting works. This includes giving all teams a specific power-up, collecting items as power-ups to use in the Decision Dome and more. The list of modifiers is as follows:

  • Candies (Halloween events) - Players can find candies given by NPCs around the Main Hub. These candies can be used to influence the votes.
  • Dunk Bonanza (Pride series, since MCC P21) - All players are given a dunk item.
  • Easter Eggs (MCC 4) - Players can find Easter eggs around the Main Hub to be used as extra votes.
  • Festive Items (Festive events) - Players exchange gifts with each other to get items, to be used to influence the votes.
  • Flowers (MCC 21) - Players can find flowers given by dogs around the Main Hub. These can be used to influence the votes.
  • Scrambled Eggs (MCC P22) - Two players on each team are given infinite eggs, while the other two members of the team receive a crossbow with infinite arrows.

The Elevator[]

Since MCC 2, an elevator joke is created for almost every event. This was a respond to the players trying to break the elevator during the first event, in which the joke wasn't implemented yet. In every themed event (Easter, Festive, Halloween, Pride, Scuffed, and Spring), there are no elevator jokes in those specified events, as there are either a hub mini-game running in them, or other things happening (e.g. the Main Hub being underwater in MCC AF)

The elevators were removed at the beginning of Season 4, but was added back in MCC PARTY 2.

Event Description Image
Season 1
MCC 2 The elevator broke for the first time and revealed an underground room with chickens in tanks (presumably used for the Decision Dome).
MCC 3 The underground room contained heaps of toilet paper, a nod to the hoarding taking place during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, in addition to the chickens.
MCC 5 The elevator breaking led to the players falling down into more elevators that also broke, which eventually ended with a passage back up to the surface.
In MCC 6, the elevator was not broken, but the joke was said to be "topical" on the admin stream. However it was confirmed by Smajor1995 that it was a Technoblade cloning factory which was later used in MCC 9 except for Scott.
MCC 7 The elevator led down to a room that simply said "The joke's on you: There is no elevator joke". Prior to this event, the elevator was changed from needing 30 players to overload to needing 25.

MCC 8 The elevator led into a living room with an NPC named "Orange Supporter" watching the event on their TV.
MCC 9 The elevator led down into the same room as MCC 2, but the chickens in the tanks were replaced by NPCs named "Dangthatsalongname", "Scott", "Smajor1995", and "MCC Organizer" as a nod to the fake Pink Parrots team that was joked at during MCC 8's team announcement.
MCC 10 After the elevator was broken, everyone started floating upwards and the song "Pure Imagination" from the movie Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory started playing in the background, as a nod to how MCC 10 was the first event with viewer teams, similar to the Golden Tickets from the movie.
MCC 12 The competitors fell into an MCC birthday party and an audio recording of the Noxcrew singing "Happy Birthday" was played.
Season 2
MCC 14 The competitors were directed into a room containing a map leading to an unknown island, hinting at the teaser for MCC Island that was released after the event.
MCC 15 The competitors were led into a Burgers But Fast factory, showing a conveyor belt loading slimes onto a grill for transport to Burger but Fast trucks.
In MCC 16, no elevator jokes were done.
MCC 17 The competitors were led to a "Cyan Cylinders" forest with signs telling weird facts about cylinders. The models in the forest were also cylinders. This was a joke from Noxite as with Cyan Creepers retiring and needing a new name.[1]
MCC R The competitors were led to an office where the Noxcrew members (specifically, TheBushBandit, LaurenJuliet, Noctis_Mori and VioLXIV) were sitting down and watch the teams' application videos. Deep inside, there is a Noxcrew Cloning Facility as well. As an easter egg, VioLXIV's computer screen is a burger, with burgers on top of her desk.

MCC AS The competitors were led to Noxite's house, who was hosting a "Noxite's Little Champions" MCC watch party alongside four people who, at that moment, had not won a regular event yet, including CaptainSparklez, TheOrionSound, InTheLittleWood and Ranboo, all of whom wearing a themed shirt. The background music of a kazoo cover of "All Stars" by Smash Mouth was also played, as the event is named "MC Championship All-Stars".
MCC 20 As the hub was floating in the sky, the competitors fell down into the ocean below, where there was a pink flamingo floaty, and a ship in the distance.
MCC 22 The elevator stayed intact. Noxite started narrating as if the elevator crashed, after which he narrated some of the competitors' "suspicion" and "agony". This was likely a reference to the game Stanley Parable.
MCC 23 The elevator stayed intact. Lightning appeared in the elevator, causing everyone in the elevator to "switch bodies". Everyone outside are unaffected. The effect lasted until the following game.
MCC 24 The competitors were directed into a ferry terminal along with a ferry, which was related to MCC Island's closed beta release before the event. The ferry terminal is known to be the queuing room of the server.
MCC 25 The competitors dropped into a dark tunnel, with yellow-colored blocks scattered around. At the end, competitors were met with the Yellow Creature, a reference to the first MCC Island event.
For more information regarding the Yellow Creature and the event on the MCC Island server, click here.
MCC 27 The competitors dropped into a room full of dog counterpart of the teams, as the event's name was "MC Championship 27 - Underdogs". This was also a context from the Noxcrew's April Fools joke on the MCC Twitter.[2]
Season 3
MCC 29 The competitors dropped into a room featuring a stall for "Tubbo's psychic service". He can also be seen holding a sign which read "MCC IS NEAR" beside the stall. This is a nod to his confident, but incorrect, prediction on the date for MCC 29[3].
MCC AF Both elevators were removed and replaced by a sign reading "There is only one floor" and "You're just imagining things" on each side of the dome.

MCC 30 The competitors dropped into a room with a sign reading "Unsafe elevators are no laughing matter." and a fire exit. The fire exit led the competitors through a parkour full of fire and lava (hence, a "fire" exit). Safety apparatuses were also scattered across the room albeit with no actual uses.
MCC 31 The competitors dropped into a room with a recruitment advertisement for a skywriter. This is a nod to the misspelled skywriting which read "THIRO YNE WHOOPS" in the hub. A birthday message and a birthday cake for soupforeloise was also present. Moreover, the room also had a "water exit," a continuation to the previous elevator joke.
MCC 32 As a continuation of the "Elemenevators," an "air exit" was present at the bottom of the elevator. Inside was a small parkour through puffs of clouds.
MCC 33 The competitors dropped into "The Guy Grotto," which is a parody of EthosLab's base in his Minecraft survival series called "The Man Cave."
MCC R2 The competitors dropped down below the hub into a underwater chamber with "MCC FALLIN" written on the floor. Beside the floor writing is an info board listing joke statistics. On the opposite side is a stall with a portal which will teleport the player up to a plane above the hub.
MCC 34 The competitors dropped down into the same chamber that was present in MCC R2, except "HOLE INC" was written on the floor.
Season 4 - Season 5
MCC PARTY 2 - MCC BC The elevator returned and was functional for the first time. The elevator worked the same way as in the elevator in the Terra Swoop Force map. Upon reaching the bottom, players would encounter an iron door with a sign that says "Door Out of Order!"
