Sky Battle is a game that was introduced in MCC 9, replacing Skyblockle for an indefinite amount of time. This is the sixth new game to be introduced in Season 1.
Official Description[]
Similar to Skyblockle and the classic Minecraft mini-game Skywars, Sky Battle is a fast-paced game designed to keep teams moving and trying new strategies!
Teams begin with access to resources and infinite blocks, which can be used to build defences, and move between islands. Build up your resources and head towards the centre of the map; the last player or team standing wins!
Sky Battle is played out in three rounds of approximately five minutes. This high-paced game will keep you moving; the border is constantly shrinking!
Goal and Description[]
Sky Battle is a fast-paced PvP game, that involves communication throughout the team, survival, and getting kills. The goal is to be the last team standing in each round. There are 3 rounds in total which lasts 4 minutes each.
The map consists of floating islands above the void. Players spawn on islands on the outer edge of the map. As time goes by, the circular border will shrink from the sides and the top, forcing players inward.
Resources that competitors would need are scattered around the map, from the team's starting islands to the center of the map. Players can find weapons and useful items like cobwebs, TNT, creeper eggs, and fishing rods in chests to help rack up kills and surviving. Resources like iron, gold and diamond can also be found throughout the map and be crafted into gears and/or weapons.
Coin Rewards[]
- 2 if another person dies and you're still alive.
- 40 on personal eliminations.
- 50 if you survive the entire round.
Teams will also get a bonus at the end of the game, based on when the entire team was eliminated:
Remixes[]
- Main article: Game Remixes
Sky Battle has been remixed once in its lifetime:
- MCC 33 - Water Fight:
- A new map (Sandyland) is introduced.
- Players are restricted to Hydroblaster (from MCC Island's similar remix) and a wooden sword.
- Players can be damaged via water and Hydroblaster shots.
- Players can heal themselves with saturation and health potions.

- Quig and Sapnap have been the overall winner of Sky Battle in 3 events.
- Dream has been the overall winner in two events, as well as MCC AS.
- Quig is known for his TNT cannon in this game, using it to eliminate Smajor1995 in MCC 9 and Vapekit in MCC 10.
- This strategy was used by the MCC testers so much that it was unofficially banned from use in testing.
- In MCC 17, Grian became the first person to place first in Sky Battle but not place first on their team.
- MCC 19, MCC 21, and MCC 26 were the only events where Sky Battle was played in the second half of the event.
- Sapnap's team placed first overall in all of these events.
- In both MCC 9 and MCC AS, the Blue Bats, consisting of FalseSymmetry, fruitberries, HBomb94, and Rendog, won the first round of the game with all members surviving.
- In both MCCs, HBomb94 exclaimed "I did nothing!" after the win.
- The first round of MCC 20 was the first round in a regular Sky Battle which had winners from two separate teams: fruitberries from the Pink Parrots, and Eret from the Red Rabbits.
- In MCC 28, Illumina survived and won all 3 rounds. This is the first time a player has achieved this in a single game of Sky Battle.
- Illumina is well known for disliking Sky Battle after he talked about how much he hated it in MCC 21, calling it a "trash game"
