These are all the changes and updates from Season 2 of MC Championship.
MC Championship 14[]
General
- Games will now be announced publicly before the event.
- New coin designed for Season 2. Any player (including people who already have a season 1 coin) will get this newly-designed coin when they win.
- MCC Live, an event companion, was announced.
- Music controls were separated into two, one for the Core Music (Decision Dome, overtime, etc.) and one for the Game Music (specific music for gamemodes)
- Music for the countdown (One Minute to MCC!), the Decision Dome, Overtime, The Final Duel, and Dodgebolt were altered slightly.
- Music for each game was added.
- New decorations are added in the hub area, including a floating coin above the winner's podium.
- New hangout areas, including a hot tub area, Burgers But Fast, etc.
- New fireworks and lasers showcase for the starting countdown and final duel introduction.
Decision Dome
- Decision Dome has been redesigned and slightly expanded with various interior changes, including gift shops.
Ace Race
- The map was changed to a new map, Space Race.
Battle Box
- The map was changed to a new map, Villa.
- New lobby room for Battle Box was introduced.
- When a player is eliminated from a round, that player will now go into spectator mode, instead of being stuck inside the team's kit selection room.
Big Sales at Build Mart
- Shopping cart traveling was replaced with fans and elytra travel.
- Resources are now on islands.
- The Ace Race launch pads and speed boosts are added to each resource Island.
- Nether and coral resources have been added.
- Terracotta blocks have been removed.
- For every 3 builds, Golden builds will now appear, offering better rewards than regular builds.
- Fan-made builds were added.
Hole in the Wall
- The map was changed to a new map, Wall in the City.
- New wall designs were added.
- Platform will now shrink from inside out, making it more difficult.
Parkour Tag
- Maps are no longer be box-shaped.
- Factory map was introduced.
- Runners will now be given an item where they can activate temporary vision of the hunter.
- New lobby room was introduced.
Sky Battle
- A new map was introduced, Medieval.
- There is now a central area at the centre of the map.
- Fishing rods were added to the loot table.
Survival Games
- The map was changed to Noxcrew's Bedrock Edition map: Millionaire Mansions 2
- There are now various new airdrop items available.
- Boats are added.
- Placement of chests are improved.
TGTTOSAWAF
- Several new maps were introduced being Industry, Siege, Breakdown and a Remixed version of Skydive using Rocket Launchers called Skydive Remix.
- Terra Swoop Force's tunnel is changed to Tunnel 2.
Dodgebolt
- New arena area was introduced.
- Banners are now replaced with a themed hat and a sponge finger, to show support for a team.
- Huge balloons were introduced showcasing the duelists in Dodgebolt.
MC Championship Pride 21[]
General
- The hub received a lot of pride theme decoration. A unique coin was given to the winners of the event.
Decision Dome
- The Decision Dome received some pride-themed decorations.
Battle Box
- Introduced a new map, Paint Factory, and a creeper egg kit.
Big Sales at Build Mart
- Pride-themed builds would appear on every golden build.
- Quartz can now be found on both the Nether and Ore islands. Nether brick could now be found on both Nether and Brick islands.
- The logs were retextured to be more similar to vanilla textures.
Hole in the Wall
- The game received a lot of pride-themed decorations and pride-themed walls.
- Wall collision was improved.
Parkour Tag
- The lobby received pride-themed decorations.
- The map Factory received a design tweak.
- Teams would receive more coins if they tagged the other team quicker.
Sky Battle
- The map Medieval received a pride-themed colouration.
Survival Games
- The map Millionaire Mansions 2 received a lot of pride-themed decorations.
- Players can now break leaves.
- The scoring was tweaked to make win points less impactful.

- Many maps received a lot of pride-themed decorations.
- In the map Doors, redstone lamps will turn on if players are stepping on the pressure plates of the right doors.
Dodgebolt
- Dodgebolt received pride-themed decoration and the bows were changed to rainbows. The arrow trails are also rainbow.
MC Championship 15[]
Ace Race
- Scoring was adjusted to give bonuses for scoring top 5.
- Map was switched back to Space Race (since P21 used Clouds instead).
- Space Race was adjusted to make the Checkpoints better and easier to navigate.
- Ph1LzA's head was added to the map to show which area not to go towards.
Battle Box
- Map was switched back to Canal.
Parkour Tag
- The hunt limit was increased from 3 to 4.
Sands of Time
- Sands of Time was reintroduced into the game selection and was completely overhauled.
- The Hub was adjusted.
- More pathways were added.
- Some pathways now lead directly to puzzles to give sand keepers more to do while staying close to the timer.
- Locked rooms filled with coins were added around the hub that could be unlocked by depositing sand.
- Many new puzzles were added with hints.
- Cracked stone was added, which could be broken to lead to new areas.
- Some cracked stone blocks contain coins.
- Some mobs are now encased in stone and will only come to life when a player walks over a specific area.
- Vaults and their keys were changed.
- Every vault is now in its own separate pathway from the hub.
- The pathway leading to the vault will be lined with a specific color.
- Vault keys are now located in their own rooms on top of a podium of the same color.
- The blue vault key is always directly under the sand timer and can be obtained instantly.
- The red vault key is always locked behind a puzzle in the hub.
- The gold key is always randomly placed and guarded by a difficult parkour challenge.
Survival Games
- Map was switched back to World of Cars - Forest.
MC Championship 16[]
General
- MCC.live was updated to include an individual leaderboard that updated after every game was finished.
Games
- A new team game, Grid Runners, was added.
Ace Race
- Tridents were entirely re-coded to remove collisions and fire automatically when held down long enough to prevent ping issues.
- Several platforms were expanded to make them easier to land on after trident-propelling out of water.
- Tunnels were enlarged to make them easier to land in after trident-propelling.
Battle Box
- Map was switched back to Train Station.

- First place bonus was reduced.
- Second and third place would get a bonus.

MC Championship 17[]
General
- The team mascots Green Guardians and Cyan Creepers were retired, and was replaced by Green Geckos and Cyan Coyotes respectively.
- There are now 10 edible items in the main lobby, with 3 giving potion effects when consumed.[1]
Ace Race
- The map was switched back to "Python's Crypt".
Battle Box
- Added a new map: "Graffiti".
- Players can collect and use leaves blocks to traverse the map.
- Added a new map: "Graffiti".
Big Sales at Build Mart
- Each build has a specific completion placement reward, instead of all builds being worth the same amount and decreasing at a consistent rate.
- Partial build completion now counts based on how many times a build was completed, rather than the 10th build payout.

- All coins will be given at the end during the score breakdown. There is now a placement reward depending on how fast the team completed each room. There is also a course completion bonus depending on how fast the team completed the whole course.

- The win bonus for 1st place is now spread across the top 3 places. (100 for 1st, 70 for 2nd, 30 for 3rd) If there's multiple people surviving at the end, they will still get the 1st place bonus.
Parkour Tag
- Added a new map: "Plaza".
Sands of Time
- Each puzzle room now has a reset button. Some rooms can be reset infinitely, while others can be reset once.
- Vexes are removed due to the difficulties surrounding them.[1]
Survival Games
- The map was switched back to "World of Cars - Forest".
- Overall coins for survival and kills were reduced, and bonuses for final team survival placement were introduced.
TGTTOSAWAF
- Added a new map: "Shallow Lava".
- Overall coins for finishing were reduced, and bonuses for the first four individuals who finish the course, and also bonuses for the first four teams that finish were introduced.
MC Championship Rising[]
General
- All 40 participants in this event were "up-and-coming" content creators who had never been in an MCC event before. The teams were selected via application.
- In this event, "classic" maps of some games were brought back.
Battle Box
- The Classic map was used.

Parkour Tag
- The Factory map was used.
Survival Games
- The City Living map was used.
- Kill coins were increased, while survival coins were decreased.
TGTTOSAWAF

- The fans at the end were all replaced with random MCC participants who have participated in MCC.
- The first 10 players to finish received a bonus instead of the first 4, and total team bonuses were reduced.
MC Championship 18[]
General
- The event had a Halloween theme.
- The Main Hub had its own Halloween theme including gargoyles, flying bats, ghosts, gravestones, pumpkins and spiders.
- The Trick or Treat minigame was reintroduced from MCC 11. Between games and during the break, players can collect candies to use special abilities in the Decision Dome. The player that collected the most candies would be crowned as the Pumpkin King.
Decision Dome
- The Decision Dome remix was brought back from MCC 11.
Battle Box
- The map Haunted House was used for this event.
Big Sales at Build Mart
- New Halloween-themed builds were added.
Grid Runners
- The map received Halloween decorations.
- Halloween-themed rooms were added.
Hole in the Wall
- The map Wall in the Beach received Halloween touch-ups and changed to Walloween.
Survival Games
- Coins per kills were halved.
- A new airdrop system was implemented. Coin crates will drop as airdrops, one every 90 seconds for a total of 5 per game. They spawn closer to the center of the map. When an airdrop is announced, a white beacon indicates its location. When it lands, the beacon turns green and when broken, the beacon turns red. They take 8 seconds break, and no tool speeds it up. Breaking them will give 200 coins split with the team.
Sky Battle
- Added a new map, Candy Land.
Dodgebolt
- The name was changed to Witchbolt, similar to MCC 11, with players fighting with magic wands and spells.
MC Championship All-Stars[]
Games
- The pool of games in a single event has reduced from 10 to 9.
Decision Dome
- The game(s) that were not played in the previous event will come first in the Decision Dome for the next event.
Ace Race
- The map is changed to Space Race. There are also lights scattered around the map.
Battle Box
- The map is changed to Graffiti, a yet unplayed map of the game.
Big Sales at Build Mart
- The correct rotation of all blocks is required for a build to be considered complete. (e.g. stairs, open doors, slabs) Texture rotation is not needed to complete the build (e.g. Door hinges in the wrong position still counts towards the completion)
- Double slabs are now identical to their full block counterparts.
Hole in the Wall
- The map is changed to Classic.
Sands of Time
- Disconnects are now less severe. Competitors who are disconnected will now respawn at the same location (with all of their coins, health, and items) and given resistance until the resource pack loads for them.
TGTTOSAWAF
- The game was renamed to TGTTOSAWAMCCPWHNWAEY (To Get To The Other Side And Whack An MC Championship Participant Who Has Not Won An Event Yet), with all the competitors who still have not won an event yet being the end goal of the map instead of fans.
- A new mystery map is added called "To The Dome!", a map that is similar to the MCC Lobby Map.
MC Championship 19[]
General
- The main hub as well as all the games have been decorated to match the festive theme of the event.
- The presents exchanging hub minigame is back from MCC 13, allowing competitors to give and receive presents that can influence the Decision Dome.
Decision Dome
- The Decision Dome remix was brought back from MCC 13.
Battle Box
- The Santa's Slay map is back, with improved signs and map tweaks. (including the presents' colours being changed for every match-up) The map is also renamed to "Santa's Slay," instead of "Santa's Sleigh."
Big Sales at Build Mart
- Festive-themed builds were added to the pool, as well as the Sands island being replaced with the Snows island, with blocks such as snow, snow layers and packed ice.
Grid Runners
- Festive-themed rooms were added in the event.
Hole in the Wall
- The Wall in the Cold map is back, this time named "Scott's Grotto". The jingle walls are also back as well.
Parkour Tag
- The Plaza map was given festive decorations.
Sands of Time
- The game is temporarily renamed to "Snows of Time" with its snow-themed map, with a difference of the map being much darker to help increase the visibility of the snow blocks used for the timer.
Sky Battle
- The map Candy Land map got some minor changes, prominently being the cobblestone fences (that were placed below the iron blocks) being replaced by iron fences instead.
Survival Games
- The City Living map is back, with snow and festive decorations scattered around the map. Snowballs can also be found around the map as well.
- Airdrops would now take much longer to drop to the ground.
- The game's coins were also adjusted, with 180 coins for each airdrop break, 65 coins for kills and a slight reduction for team placements coins.
TGTTOSAWAF
- Added a new map: "Cliff?"
Dodgebolt
- The game is renamed to "Snowbolt", same as with MCC 13, with the use of gloves and snowballs instead of bows and arrows.
MC Championship 20[]
General
- The event server has been updated to Minecraft version 1.18.2.
- The Main Hub was lifted in the sky, as teased in the Operation: Floatation story.
- Individual placements will no longer show up in the scoreboard on the right side of a participants' screen, and will instead be shown on a statue in the Hall of Fame.
- There are multiple new technological decorations around the hub placed by GDL to hold up the floating islands.
- A new light show was introduced.
- You can now pet Smajor1995's dogs in the main hub.
- MCC Live received light mode, a switch to toggle particles, a button to manually check for updates to the website, and a data delay setting to allow viewers to synchronize their stream and the website so they can see the results of a game come in as the game ends instead of seeing them too early.

- A new game called Rocket Spleef Rush was introduced, replacing Rocket Spleef for Season Two.
- New terrain will be generated as the game progresses, accompanied by a warning sound. After the new arena is generated, the original arena will start disintegrating, forcing the players to move to the next arena.
- The generated arenas will get smaller as time goes by. The size is based on the number of living players and time passed.
- The rocket launcher has been renamed to a Rocket Cannon, and retextured to the model seen in the Operation: Floatation blueprint.
- The firework has been replaced with the new Updraft mechanic, which allows competitors to boost themselves directly upwards instead of boosting players in the direction they were aiming.
- The powerup is still only available once per round and will be taken away in the latter half of the round.
- The top 10 players will now receive a coin bonus. If multiple competitors survive in a single round, the placements will be based on the height of each surviving competitor.
- Three brand new maps are introduced: Classic, Santorini, and Journey.
- New terrain will be generated as the game progresses, accompanied by a warning sound. After the new arena is generated, the original arena will start disintegrating, forcing the players to move to the next arena.

- The Main Hub had been decorated to match the spring theme of the event.
- Before the event, as an April Fool's joke, viewers on Twitter can submit their dogs as the "new team icons" for the events. As this was a joke, this was not implemented. However, three dogs (Lucy, Cookie, and Paddy) have been added as part of a new hub mini-game.
- A new hub mini-game is introduced, where players can collect flowers from the three dogs. The flowers are limited to one per dog. Flowers can be used in the Decision Dome to vote on a game, without the vote being moved, and counted as 3 votes each.

- Game Remixes are introduced, allowing players an opportunity to change how a game works for an event.
Decision Dome
- Chickens in the Decision Dome have been swapped for bunnies, similar to MCC 4.
- Firebombs can destroy both the bunnies and the flowers planted.
Battle Box
- Battle Box received the first remix, introducing a brand new map, Double Trouble, with two capture points and tridents are only allowed as the weapon used in the game. This idea came from Moesh, a game designer at Mojang.
- The team with the most wool blocks from each point will be crowned as the winner of that round.
- Draws will now award coins, less than the win coins in the game.

- Introduced a brand new map, Mesa Madness, where players spawn with arrows but have to find bows in chests. Players also spawn with gold chestplates instead of iron ones, and a multitude of gold blocks are now obtainable. A single diamond block was added at the top of the map.

- The Main Hub got some more decorations, with cats as well as a giant inflatable flamingo in the sky.

- The map is changed back to Ships.
Dodgebolt
- After the first round, if the score is not tied, the losing team will now get 2 arrows.
- If the score is tied (1-1, 2-2), each side will still get one arrows each.
MC Championship Pride 22[]
General
- Added more cosmetics to be worn in the event alongside the previous ones in MCC P21. A flag switching interface is also implemented to change the flag to any other LGBTQIA+ flags available, including Pride, Transgender, Non-Binary, Asexual, Pansexual, Bisexual, Lesbian, Gay, and Unlabeled.
- As part of the milestones, Scrambled Eggs milestone is introduced, giving two members of each team infinite eggs, with the other two being given crossbows.
- Some of the unicorns in the sixth milestone are now able to fly.
- There is now a double-decker hot tub in the Main Hub area.

- Ace Race has been recoded and introduced some new mechanics and changes:
- A brand new map, Turtle Run, is introduced in this event with the new changes.
- For this map, players do four laps, rather than three.
- Throughout the map, there are now visual checkpoints. Items and buffs are now designated at some checkpoints, and will be taken away later.
- These checkpoints will now communicate whether you gain time or lose time.
- Elytra will now have to be triggered manually, and will be taken away when a player lands.
- Green jump pads are introduced, which launches the player more vertically.
- Snow fields are introduced, slowing down the players.
- Moving walls are introduced in a part of the new map.
- A brand new map, Turtle Run, is introduced in this event with the new changes.

General

- Most of the sound effects have been changed to Halloween-themed sound effects, most notably, the time indicator sounds being clock sounds instead.
- The Trick or Treat minigame was reintroduced from earlier Halloween events. Between games, players can collect candies to use special abilities in the Decision Dome. The player that collected the most candies would be crowned as the Pumpkin King.

- Parkour Warrior is back after its last appearance in MCC 11, with redesigned mechanics.
- Every time players completed a section, players will now have an opportunity to complete the bonus side path.
- The bonus path will shows its difficulty, and will give player medals from bronze to gold medals, depending on the amount of sections a player completed. The nicer the medal is, the more coins it is worth.
- Players can teleport out from the bonus path at anytime by using a teleport item.
- The finishing section is now separated into three difficulty levels: easy, medium, and hard.
- Every time each team member finished the course, the team coin multiplier will increase for the team. The higher the difficulty, the higher the multiplier is.
- A graphic is implemented, to indicate the time remaining and the player's progress.
- The course is now dynamic and modular, making each course different event-by-event.
- Dynamic obstacles are implemented, focusing on timing and reaction times.
- Every time players completed a section, players will now have an opportunity to complete the bonus side path.
- Parkour Warrior is back after its last appearance in MCC 11, with redesigned mechanics.
Decision Dome
- The Decision Dome remix was brought back from earlier Halloween events.
Battle Box
- The map is changed back to its Halloween map, Haunted House.
- Wool blocks and shears are changed to concrete blocks and pickaxes to reduce the number of resource pack switches between games.[2]

General
- The Main Hub as well as all the games had been decorated to match the festive theme of the event.
- The presents exchanging hub minigame was back from MCC 13 and MCC 19, allowing competitors to give and receive presents that could influence the Decision Dome.
- New gifts were introduced: Toy Chicken (a static chicken vote), Drum (throws chickens up into the air), and a Glass of Eggnog.
- Some of the sound effects have been changed to festive-themed sound effects, most notably, the "acquired" sound effects being clearer.
Decision Dome
- The Decision Dome remix was brought back from MCC 13 and MCC 19.
Ace Race
- A brand new Ace Race map was introduced: Yeti Set Go!.
Battle Box
- The map was changed back to Santa's Slay.
Grid Runners
- Grid Runners received a brand new room, as well as adjustments to other rooms.[3]
Meltdown
- Snowball mittens were used as the frost bow for this event. The players frozen would now be snowmen instead of ice cubes.
Parkour Warrior
- Scorings for metal medals were adjusted, now corresponding with the amount of medals obtained, instead of a flat score per medal.
- In the last 2 minutes, the teleportation scroll would be removed for the final section, forcing players to stick with their choice at the end.
Rocket Spleef Rush
- The maps were given a festive touch-up.
Sands of Time
- The game was renamed back to "Snows of Time" with its snow-themed map.
Sky Battle
- The map Mesa Madness was made festive and named Mesnow.
TGTTOSAWAF
- Introduced two new festive maps: Polar Passing and Santa's Train.
- Terra Swoop Force - Tunnel 2, Cliff?, and Boats were featured for the game, however, one other map was undisclosed before the event.
Dodgebolt
- The game was renamed to "Snowbolt", with the use of gloves and snowballs instead of bows and arrows.
