These are all the changes and updates from Season 4 of MC Championship.

MC Championship Season 4 Kick-Off[]

  • General
    • The event now uses the new game engine from MCC Island.
      • The game announcement chat messages are now mainly light blue instead of white, except for the Decision Dome.
      • Game icons are now also indicated besides each game announcement chat message.
      • Team placements ties are now indicated clearly in the scoreboard.
    • The Main Hub is now re-located to a jungle island, and received significant changes.
      • The main beach area is now gated, and is accessible only during event times.
      • Designated build stages for teams are introduced. Players can now log on to the server to build their stages before the event. These are featured in the team introductions, and will be featured in the The Walk of Fame and the Hall of Fame, if they win.
      • A Sumo minigame and a Dodgebolt practice area are introduced to the server.
      • The Hall of Fame got a brand-new design, and is now accessible before the event.
    • As with the event being held on May 4th, all swords are "light swords".
    • A "Kudos" system is now implemented. At the end of each game, a message will appear for each player, if they do well in certain statistics of each game, including records.
    • Tutorial screens are introduced, explaining each game before each game. This replaced the long tutorial texts at the beginning of each game.
    • The elimination graphics now indicate the team icon and the player icon (if Noxesium is installed) besides the eliminated player, instead of just colour.
    • The countdown at the beginning of the event is increased from 2 minutes and 30 seconds to 4 minutes. This is to accommodate the new team introductions feature.
    • MCC Live got a new predictions system, where viewers can predict on which team comes out on top in each game and the event. The prediction with the most votes and the percentage of the correct prediction are reported in-game.
  • Battle Box Battle Box
    • Introduced a new map, Spaceship.
      • Bonus items are now "kits", where players choose their own classes with additional items, in a similar sense to MCC Island. There are five kits available.
      • Some MCC Island items such as sparks and orbs are now introduced for this map.
  • Bingo but Fast Bingo but Fast
    • The map for this event was Coral Bay.
      • This map introduces a map, indicating the land and ocean portions of the map.
      • A "Coral Pickaxe" is added, with a Silk Touch enchantment.
  • Rocket Spleef Rush Rocket Spleef Rush
    • The elytra durability mechanic from MCC Island is now implemented, where players must land on the arena to top up the elytra's durability.
    • Players can attack other players' elytra durability, beginning at 50% at the start of each round.
    • Islands now have overlays displayed when they are spawning.
    • Players are now given two updrafts instead of one.
    • Kill coins are now increased from 10 to 30. Survival coins are decreased from 3 to 2.
  • Sky Battle Sky Battle
    • The map was changed back to Metro, with a minor change in the centre of the map to improve traversal and combat of the map.
    • The "Overtime" system is introduced for the game, where players will continuously get border damage towards the end of the game.

MC Championship Pride 24[]

  • General
    • The main hub and some games received pride dress-ups.
      • The cosmetics from previous pride events were also available.
      • The donation ticker and tower had also returned from MCC P23.
      • Chickens got a pride makeover, with a rainbow flag over its body.
      • Bows in this event were "rain-bows".
    • Throughout the event, chickens could now spawn around players. When punched, they would give one coin each. The chicken spawns depend on the donations from the viewers.

    • Dunk Bonanza returned for the third Decision Dome voting round.
    • The "Best players in your team" summary returned. However, this did not show multiplied coins, but instead only unmultipled coins.
      • This summary appears before the top 5 players summary.
    • MCC Live now has quizzes in regards to MC Championship, in addition to the predictions.
  • Ace Race Ace Race
    • Clouds II returned as the map for the event.
    • The current lap time now displays besides the lap counter.
  • Bingo but Fast Bingo but Fast
    • The map for this event was Clearleaf Forest, with cherry blossom and flower forest biomes as the main features of this map.
  • Grid Runners Grid Runners
    • Introduced 3 new challenge rooms of Pride Maze, Bathtime! and Drag Cream!, as well as a new sprint room of Brackets.
    • The objective title no longer shows at the start of each room.
    • The sprint room's room title now correctly shows on the sidebar.
  • Meltdown Meltdown
    • Heaters for Meltdown would emit heart particles.
    • Meltdown's centre room can now be rotated between rounds.
    • The "TEAM FROZEN" text, when the entire team is frozen, was removed.
      • It is unknown if these changes were implemented in the earlier event (MCC 4KO) or not.
  • Parkour Tag Parkour Tag
    • The Pridebowl was featured for this event.
    • Survival coins for players now count up to 60 seconds, instead of 50 seconds.
  • Dodgebolt Dodgebolt
    • The Megabolt returned for this event.
      • All the teams are now also displayed in the sidebar instead of just two teams for the game.

MC Championship Twitch Rivals Europe[]

  • General
    • A new music was added for the team introductions.
    • All the format changes from MCC TR returned for this event. This includes the event format, multipliers, and the main Twitch Rivals stream.
  • Hole in the Wall Hole in the Wall
    • Introduced a new map, De Hef, the final platform of which is a diagonal shape.
    • The walls were made orange.
  • Railroad Rush Railroad Rush
    • A stick of dynamite now costs 3 gold instead of 7.
    • All gold gathered from a stick of dynamite would now be auto-collected, when used during the Gold Rush phase.
  • Rocket Spleef Rush Rocket Spleef Rush
    • The game received some minor elytra damage balancing, with less damage in the early game and slower damage scaling throughout the game.

The Ender Cup[]

  • General
    • Noxcrew and Minecraft teamed up to create a special event celebrating Minecraft's 15th anniversary
      • A central stream with commentary was available on Minecraft's Twitch channel.
    • Special cutscenes were added in the beginning of the event, intermissions, and before Dodgebolt.
    • The hub received a massive decoration to match with the End theme.
      • The hub was located on End islands.
      • Many buildings in the regular hub were missing, including the Hall of Fame.
        • The podiums for the top 10 players and the individual standing were located in front of the gate instead.
  • Ace Race Ace Race
    • Introduced the map Dark Descent, taking inspiration from the Caves and Cliffs Update (1.17 and 1.18).
    • A new mechanic of fans were introduced, propelling the players in the direction of the wind.
  • Grid Runners Grid Runners
    • Introduced 8 new challenge rooms and a new sprint room, taking inspiration from the Pretty Scary Update (1.4.2), Redstone Update (1.5), Horse Update (1.6), and Update that Changed the World (1.7).
    • Objective titles were added back in.
    • Completed rooms would now have a border of the team colour on top, instead of a flag.
    • Row numbers are added to each row of rooms.
  • Hole in the Wall Hole in the Wall
    • Introduced the map Ocean Monument, taking inspiration from the Bountiful Update (1.8).
      • A guardian-shaped platform was introduced alongside the map.
  • Meltdown Meltdown
    • Introduced the map Bastion, taking inspiration from the Nether Update (1.16).
      • Off-hand map can now be displayed on the screen instead of in the player's hand.
        • The size of the map can be adjusted in the accessibility setting.
  • Sky Battle Sky Battle
    • Introduced the map Coral, taking inspiration from Update Aquatic (1.13) and the Village & Pillage Update (1.14).
  • TGTTOS TGTTOS
    • Introduced 6 new maps, taking inspiration from the Combat Update (1.9), Frostburn Update (1.10), Exploration Update (1.11), and World of Colour Update (1.12).
  • Dodgebolt Dodgebolt
    • The Final Duel and the Dodgebolt music were remixed.

MC Championship Rising 3[]

  • General
    • Chickens are no longer stuck on the game signs above the Decision Dome dial when a chicken egg is thrown.
  • Ace Race Ace Race
    • Turtle Run was featured in this event, with some updates and reliability changes for tridents to behave like vanilla Minecraft.
      • The "use" sound for jump pads and tridents can now be heard.
  • Meltdown Meltdown
    • Meltdown received some technical tweaks:
      • The sound played after the team was all frozen was changed to the "lockout" sound, instead of the "team eliminated" sound. The "team eliminated" sound will still be played when other teams are eliminated.
      • The "TEAM FROZEN" text was also re-added.

MC Championship Twitch Rivals San Diego[]

  • General
    • Audience could now vote for the game they want to play at Game 3 and Game 4. The game that was voted will get 6 votes in the Decision Dome dial.
      • The voting for game 3 was conducted in the Twitch Rivals arena audience. The game that has the loudest cheer will get the votes.
      • The voting for game 4 was conducted in the Twitch Rivals main stream, by typing the number in chat corresponding to the game the stream audience wants to play. The game that has the highest votes will get the votes.
    • A new wins leaderboard was introduced in the Hall of Fame. The leaderboard includes the amount of wins each player in the event has, excluding MCC JJ and Rising events.
    • The time approximation countdown for the next Decision Dome voting round was introduced. This temporarily replaced the automatic countdown system due to the nature of Twitch Rivals events or other commentary-oriented events.
  • Ace Race Ace Race
    • Introduced a new map of Python's Palace.
    • This map introduced two new mechanics.
      • Swift Sprint checkpoint - when a player passes the checkpoint, they will be given speed, jump boost (around 3 blocks), and an ability to run up full blocks without jumping.
      • Elytra Ring - gives players a forward boost when flying through it.
  • Sky Battle Sky Battle
    • Mesa Madness was featured for this event.
      • There are a couple of new death messages introduced in Sky Battle for spleefing and being hooked to death with a fishing rod, a feature that was first introduced on MCC Island.

MC Championship: Haunted Hoedown[]

  • General
    • The Main Hub received some significant updates, alongside the Halloween dress-up:
      • New practice areas had been added for Ace Race, Parkour Warrior, Rocket Spleef Rush and Battle Box. These areas follow the same mechanic on the MCC Training Server, but with some updates and changes:
        • There are now only one practice arena for Battle Box. Canal is featured in the practice area.
        • There are no kits available for Battle Box.
        • New mechanics of Ace Race can now be practiced in the designated course.
        • New leaderboards for lap completions are added for Ace Race.
        • The practice modes and timing mechanism for Parkour Warrior are currently absent for this version. Players would have to manually climb back up to the obstacles if they fall.
        • An upcoming Parkour Tag practice area is also featured on the server. However, they are not playable yet. A modified version of Factory is featured in this practice area.
      • A new Navigator item is added, teleporting players to a designated area in the hub.
    • All of the games received Halloween dress-ups, including Witchbolt returning for this event.
    • The Decision Dome remix and Halloween sound effects were also re-introduced.
    • The Trick or Treat minigame was reintroduced from earlier Halloween events. Between games, players can collect sweets to use special abilities in the Decision Dome. The player that collected the most sweets would be crowned as the Pumpkin King.
    • A secret petting leaderboard was added inside the Decision Dome.
    • Maps could now take place in other dimensions.
  • Battle Box Battle Box
    • Introduced a brand new map, Mystery Manor. This map integrates breakable construction blocks to the map.
  • Meltdown Meltdown
    • Meltdown's duration was changed back to 5 minutes instead of 5 minutes and 30 seconds.
  • Sky Battle Sky Battle
    • Introduced a brand new map, Supercompressor. This map utilises the Spark of Levitation item to help with the navigation of the map.
  • Dodgebolt Dodgebolt
    • The name was changed to Witchbolt, similar to MCC 11 & MCC 18, with players fighting with magic wands and spells.

MC Championship Party 2[]

  • General
    • Introduced Drop-In, a hub minigame, deciding the Dodgebolt match-up of the event.
      • To find out more about the game, visit the Party Changes section.
    • All games do not have a multiplier in this event, due to the nature of the Drop-In mini-game.
    • The Main Hub has been decorated to match the winter theme of the month.
      • The practice modes, timing mechanism, and a leaderboard for Parkour Warrior are now available in this event.
      • The elevator in the Decision Dome was readded. The elevator is also functional, in a similar sense to the Terra Swoop Force map.
    • Due to the nature of the Drop-In game, MCC Live would not display the Crowns each team earned for this event. These were displayed in-game instead.
    • Players who do not use Noxesium would now have their players invisible in trident sections of Ace Race and trident maps in TGTTOSAWAF. This is to compensate the trident change made in MCC R3.
  • Grid Runners Grid Runners
    • Received new rooms that are related to the games that are not in the roster for this event.
  • Sky Battle Sky Battle
    • An unknown tenth game was featured in this event, forcefully played as part of the Noxcrew Takeover. This would then be revealed as Sky Battle. The game took place in Candy Land.
      • Mobs spawned by a team now have their team icon visible on top of the spawned mobs.
  • Dodgebolt Dodgebolt
    • Dodgebolt received an arrow indicator if a player holds an arrow. However, these were bugged.
