These are all the changes and updates from Season 5 of MC Championship.

MC Championship: Blank Canvas[]

  • General
    • The Main Hub has been slightly updated with the prehistoric theme of the jungle island, consisting of dinosaurs.
      • The Parkour Tag practice area is now playable.
      • Added Personal Statistics board for each players doing practice, consisting of Dodgebolt, Battle Box, Parkour Tag, as well as Miscellaneous stats board.
      • Added Tech Check Booth area to test the loading screen, volume of music and sound effects, as well as to configure the size of the map for Meltdown and Bingo but Fast when using Noxesium.
        • It also shows the Noxesium messages, including a message whether a player is using an up-to-date or outdated version of it.
    • Added Stickerbook — Players can now collect stickers earned from achievements during the event. Stickers can be placed around the Main Hub.
    • Audience Vote is now moved to MCC Live.
      • The audience vote, however, remained on Twitter/X for this event, due to technical issues with voting on the website.
    • In games that have team placement coins (Meltdown, Sky Battle, and Survival Games), those coins are now awarded when a team is eliminated. The eliminated team would also get their placement coins right when their last player is eliminated.
    • Numerous cutscenes were added, following the Blankorp lore of the season.
  • Meltdown Meltdown
    • "Overtime" music now plays towards the end of the game.
  • Sky Battle Sky Battle
    • Changed back to Supercompressor.
    • In addition, win coins are now split amongst winners in each round, instead of giving them to each winner.
  • Dodgebolt Dodgebolt
    • Dodgebolt arena received an overhaul.
    • The arrow indicators for spectators are now fixed.

MC Championship: Colour the World[]

  • General
    • The Blankorp changes from the previous event were kept for this event.
    • The Stage Customization Area and other minor notable builds in the Main Hub were moved underground.
      • This is due to the Main Hub changes that weren't revealed until the day of the event.
      • The spawn location and the event intro were also moved underground at the start of the event.
    • The player list now shows "NO TEAMS YET, GO PRACTICE!" when the teams are not announced or listed yet.
      • Participants who are playing in the server are assigned as spectators before the teams are announced.
    • New stickers are added for games that have not yet debuted in Season 5. These include Hole in the Wall, Parkour Warrior, Railroad Rush, Rocket Spleef Rush.
    • Audience could vote for the game they want to play at Game 4, similar to MCC TRSD. The game that was voted will get 6 votes in the Decision Dome dial.
      • The voting was conducted in the Twitch Rivals main stream, through the polling extension on stream. The game that has the highest votes will get the votes.
    • During the event, with the Blankorp lore, players were given a Paint Blaster to colour the entire Main Hub and the Decision Dome.
    • Stickerbook can now be used when players are in spectator mode.
    • The sticker unlocked messages when placing top 3/winning as a team and place first individually in a game now appears after the leaderboard standings and kudos, instead of right after the game is over.
  • Meltdown Meltdown
    • Map name are now shown on the scoreboard. It was revealed and named as Laboratory.
  • Parkour Warrior Parkour Warrior
    • Parkour Warrior Survivor would be played in this event, with some gameplay and scoring tweaks.
      • All obstacles featured in the game are new, and haven't been featured in the event and on MCC Island.
      • Players who haven't finished a leap, will now take a chunk of damage instantly, when either the player cap is reached or the time runs out. If they haven't finished the leap within the next 10 seconds, they will take another chunk of damage and be teleported to the start of the current leap.
      • Bonus coins are now rewarded to the first five players who finished a leap, instead of the first player who finished a leap, ranging from 30 coins for first place to 5 coins for fifth place.
      • Coins for completing a leap are reduced from 30 to 15.
  • Railroad Rush Railroad Rush
    • Introduced a brand new map Railroad Jungle.
      • Shears (with a limited amount of durability) and Sand blocks are available to be bought in the game. They are worth 5 and 2 raw gold respectively.
      • Creepers would be able to spawn in this map.
  • Rocket Spleef Rush Rocket Spleef Rush
    • Classic, Construction and Santorini were featured in this event.
      • Classic and Santorini received minor visual changes, reflecting Blankorp changes.
      • Players can no longer damage other player's elytra durability with rockets. Instead, the maximum elytra durability will now deplete overtime throughout the game.
      • Updrafts are now triggered automatically, if the player are close to the bottom border.
      • Scoring changes from MCC 4KO were reverted, due to the change in elytra durability.
        • Kill coins are decreased from 30 to 10. Survival coins are increased from 2 to 3.
      • In addition, the knockback dealt to other players are now added to their momentum instead of replacing their momentum.
      • The red outline when getting near the bottom border is now more intense. Warning messages when approaching the same border would now also get sent earlier.
  • Sky Battle Sky Battle
    • Changed back to Metro.
    • The map also receives a minor visual change, particularly the removal of graffiti, reflecting the Blankorp changes.
