Trivia
- He is the only player who isn't on Twitter, instead he has a social media presence on Instagram.
- Other players, mainly TommyInnit and Tubbo, often purposefully mispronounce his name. Variations include "Grain," "Grine," "Groan," and "Groin."
- He did not stream in MCC 6.
- He couldn't participate in MCC 8 because he was getting married.
- He got a triple kill in MCC 9's Survival Games by killing Dream, Tubbo, and Fundy and was a big factor in the Lime Llamas losing MCC 9.
- During MCC 9, he and his team made a pact to buy lordship titles if they finish 8th or above (due to the subreddit predicting them to come last). His team eventually came 8th and he bought the title of "Lord Grian Dreamslayer" because of the triple kill.
- This has led to a sizable amount of memes on the MC Championship community.
- His team would be together again in MCC PARTY 2.
- During MCC 9, he and his team made a pact to buy lordship titles if they finish 8th or above (due to the subreddit predicting them to come last). His team eventually came 8th and he bought the title of "Lord Grian Dreamslayer" because of the triple kill.
- He has killed/eliminated Dream four times, in MCC 6 and MCC 9's Survival Games, in MCC 15's Battle Box and MCC 16's Dodgebolt.
- In return, Dream also killed/eliminated/tagged him 6 times, in MCC 11's Sky Battle, in MCC 12 and MCC 13's Parkour Tag, in MCC 14's Battle Box and in MCC 16's Dodgebolt twice (7 times if Dream's Battle Box kill in MCC P22 is taken).
- His least favourite game is Parkour Warrior. It's believed that the late selection of the game during MCC 11 cost his team's shot at Dodgebolt.
- He has been on two of the three teams that have had five players:
- Pink Parrots in MCC P21 (where Ph1LzA replaced Wilbur Soot during Battle Box), due to Wilbur Soot's office alarm going off.
- Orange Ocelots in MCC 15 (where HBomb94 replaced PeteZahHutt for the events after Sands of Time), due to internet issues.
- Despite often claiming he "hates Sky Battle with a burning passion," it was the only game mode in which he placed in the top five until MCC 19 where he got 5th overall in TGTTOSAWAF. Since then, he also placed top 5 in MCC P22's Hole in the Wall and MCC P23's Parkour Tag.
- During MCC 17, He was the second player to win a 1v3 in Dodgebolt, allowing him and his team, Orange Ocelots, to win MCC 17.
- He also placed 6th individually, making him the first hermit to ever place in the top 10.
- In MCC 17, Grian called himself "Manager of Build-Mart" after his team won the event. The title has been adopted by the community due to his communication and coordination skills in the game.
- The death message in Hole in the Wall, "Player got distracted by a pesky bird", is a reference to Grian's Hermitcraft Season 7 series.
