The teams in MC Championship: Blank Canvas (April 17-18, 2025)
MC Championship: Blank Canvas (also known as MCC BC) is the fifty-fourth event of MC Championship, and the first event in Season 5. It took place on May 3, 2025 at 8 PM BST.[1] This event marks the start of the Blankorp storyline, the tournament's latest investor.

Changes[]
MC Championship - Blank Canvas Update Video
Some of the changes, particularly the Main Hub changes, were revealed on players' practice streams. The update video,[2] was released a day prior to the event, covering most of the changes of the event.
General Changes[]
- The Main Hub has been slightly updated with the prehistoric theme of the jungle island, consisting of dinosaurs.
- The Parkour Tag practice area is now playable.
- Added Personal Statistics board for each players doing practice, consisting of Dodgebolt, Battle Box, Parkour Tag, as well as Miscellaneous stats board.
- The Miscellaneous stats has the Ace Race and Parkour Warrior best time statistics.
- Added Tech Check Booth area to test the loading screen, volume of music and sound effects, as well as to configure the size of the map for Meltdown and Bingo but Fast when using Noxesium.
- It also shows the Noxesium messages, including a message whether a player is using an up-to-date or outdated version of it.
- Added Stickerbook — Players can now collect stickers earned from achievements during the event. Stickers can be placed around the Main Hub.
- Audience Vote is now moved to MCC Live.
- The audience vote, however, remained on Twitter/X for this event, due to technical issues with voting on the website.
- In games that have team placement coins (Meltdown, Sky Battle, and Survival Games), those coins are now awarded when a team is eliminated. The eliminated team would also get their placement coins right when their last player is eliminated.
- Numerous cutscenes were added, following the Blankorp lore of the season.
Game Changes and Maps Featured[]
- Ace Race's map is back to Turtle Run.
- Battle Box got a brand new map, Graffiti 2, a sequel to the former map.
- Big Sales at Build Mart receives some tweaks to the build pool.
- Grid Runners receives new rooms that are related to the Season 5 theme.
- Meltdown's "Overtime" music now plays towards the end of the game.
- Parkour Tag's map is Prefecture for this event.
- Sky Battle's map is changed back to Supercompressor.
- In addition, win coins are now split amongst winners in each round, instead of giving them to each winner.
- TGTTOSAWAF got two new maps, Blankorp and Domino.
- Beehive, Pits, Skyscraper and Walls were also played in the event.
- Dodgebolt arena received an overhaul.
- The arrow indicators for spectators are now fixed.

Trivia[]
Announcement Poster for the event
- The announcement post, posted on socials, is a parody of "Girl with a Pearl Earring" painting by Johannes Vermeer, with the baby zombie posing instead of the girl.[1]
- The "5" number painted over the painting is a reference to Season 5, the season when this event started.
- This is the first event to have custom drawn graphics of the team and game announcement, made by Ziqqy.[6]
- This is the first event without the MCC Training Server after its closure. It was completely replaced and updated with a practice area in the Main Hub.
- This event's update video is the first update video to not feature voices from Noxite. He was on holiday during the recording of the update video.
- In the update video, one of the shots of Big Sales at Build Mart is not in full-screen. Instead, it is a screen-recording with a windows GUI on top.
Participation[]
- Before his team announcement, Xisuma mistakenly said and leaked that Feinberg would be his teammate in this event.[7]
- This event featured four newcomers: Roscumber, SettingSunset, Etoiles and Pressea.
- The Pink Parrots in this event were only the second time with an all French team, and the first ever French-speaking team to be in as a non-series event.
- This event introduced aypierre and MathoX in a non-series event, outside of the Twitch Rivals series.
- This event introduced OllieGamerz back in the regular event, since MCC 34.
- This was the first event since MCC 7 where PeteZahHutt and HBomb94 are on the same team.
Statistics[]
- There was a tie for 6th which was between PeteZahHutt and Smallishbeans, both getting 2,760 coins.
- FireBreathMan is the third player in Sky Battle to score above 1000 unmultiplied coins, after Dream in MCC 11, and Antfrost in MCC TR.
- This is the first event where the winning team in Battle Box (Aqua Axolotls) did not have any of their members in the top 5 individual placements of the game.
- This is the first event where the overall winner in Battle Box was tied between three players.
