Changes
MC Championship- Haunted Hoedown
Some of the changes, particularly the Main Hub changes, were revealed after the games announcement,[1] and on players' practice streams. The update video,[2] was released a day prior to the event, covering most of the changes of the event.
General Changes
- The Main Hub received some significant updates, alongside the Halloween dress-up:
- New practice areas had been added for Ace Race, Parkour Warrior, Rocket Spleef Rush and Battle Box. These areas follow the same mechanic on the MCC Training Server, but with some updates and changes:
- There are now only one practice arena for Battle Box. Canal is featured in the practice area.
- There are no kits available for Battle Box.
- New mechanics of Ace Race can now be practiced in the designated course.
- New leaderboards for lap completions are added for Ace Race.
- The practice modes and timing mechanism for Parkour Warrior are currently absent for this version. Players would have to manually climb back up to the obstacles if they fall.
- An upcoming Parkour Tag practice area is also featured on the server. However, they are not playable yet. A modified version of Factory is featured in this practice area.
- A new Navigator item is added, teleporting players to a designated area in the hub.
- New practice areas had been added for Ace Race, Parkour Warrior, Rocket Spleef Rush and Battle Box. These areas follow the same mechanic on the MCC Training Server, but with some updates and changes:
- All of the games received Halloween dress-ups, including Witchbolt returning for this event.
- The Decision Dome remix and Halloween sound effects were also re-introduced.
- The Trick or Treat minigame was reintroduced from earlier Halloween events. Between games, players can collect sweets to use special abilities in the Decision Dome. The player that collected the most sweets would be crowned as the Pumpkin King.

Trivia
- When the event was first announced on socials, Noxcrew mistakenly named the event "Halloween Hoedown" instead, before deleting and editing the announcements on Twitter and Discord.[5]
- The name would also be mistaken in CaptainSparklez, FalseSymmetry and Kara Corvus's uploads of their VODs, including CaptainSparklez and Kara Corvus still naming the event as "Minecraft Championship".
- Additionally, other players have also been mistaken with the name in their social media posts regarding the event. These include jojosolos and soupforeloise.[6][7]
- The text in the event icon for the event announcement is not the same size as with other 2-letter event icons. This doesn't apply for any other announcements however.
- The team announcements were also announced on Threads as well for the first time.[8]
- The game announcements were announced early on Bluesky for the first time.[9]
Participation
- This event featured two newcomers: aCookieGod and ghostiefruit.
- This event introduced Ryguyrocky, Rendog, and iJevin back in the regular roster, since MCC 35, MCC 21, and MCC 1 respectively.
- With this, iJevin has set the record for the longest participation gap between events.
- This event also introduces Mogswamp into the regular roster, after their event series appearances in MCC P24 and MCC TRSD.
- Even though Grian subbed in for SolidarityGaming in the event, both of them are sick.
Statistics
- There was a tie for 32nd which were, Mogswamp and falsesymmetry both getting 1,859 coins.
- In Bingo but Fast, Blue Banshees (cubfan135, Feinberg, KryticZeuz, Skizzleman) completed all challenges and black-out the entire card with 25 challenges.
- Feinberg broke the record of completing 14 challenges in Bingo but Fast, beating Purpled's record of 12 in MCC 34 and MCC P24.
- Ironically, Purpled broke his personal record of completing 13 challenges in the same event.
