MC Championship 1 was the first event of MC Championship, as well as the first event in Season 1. It took place on November 17, 2019, at 8 PM GMT.

Trivia
- This is one of the three events that takes place on a Sunday. The other events that this happened are MCC 2 and MCC TRE.
- This event is the only event that doesn't have a dedicated Dodgebolt music for the game. The only music that is played in the game was "Overtime" when there's only a player left in a side.
- Technoblade joined the Yellow Chickens call during game 8 after seeing Ph1LzA streaming the event.[1] He later joined the tournament in MCC 2.
Participation
- Many of the former players from this event were one-time players: iHasCupquake, JackSucksAtLife, NettyPlays, TankMatt, Wolv21, Dethridge, JC The Caster, Jameskii, and Scot Griswold (MysterySalesman).
- The former players that were not one-time players were Yammyxox, Joey Graceffa, FlorianFunke, Rafessor, and BBPaws who all left within Season 1.
- Rafessor and FlorianFunke left after MCC 2. BBPaws and Yammyxox left after MCC 4. Joey Graceffa left after MCC 8 but returned for MCC P21 and MCC 27.
- Only a team was comprised entirely of players regularly appearing in the tournament: the Blue Bats.
- This is currently the only event where the teams are announced only within a day before the event.
Statistics
- Krtzyy is 2nd on the individual leaderboard despite getting 0 points in Survival Games.
- If he were to get his average coin score in Survival Games, which is 309, then he would have gotten first place individual.
- JC The Caster reached 7th place on the individual leaderboard, but never played again, technically making him one of only two players to never fall out of the top 10 (the other being Technoblade).
- He is also the only one-time player to get first place in a game, securing first place in Survival Games by a 930-point margin.
