MC Championship 12 was the twelfth event of MC Championship. It took place on November 14, 2020 at 8 PM GMT. It was a birthday-themed event, with the event taking place just before the one-year anniversary of MC Championship.

Changes
MC Championship 12 - Update Video- Anniversary & Parkour Update! (November 2020)
The update video[1] was released a day prior to the event, with the introduction of a brand new game, Parkour Tag, as well as birthday-themed changes.
- As with the birthday-themed, the hub and the games were decorated to celebrate the first anniversary of MC Championship.
- Players were also given party hats to celebrate for the occassion in the main hub.
- A cake-themed map called, "Birthday Cake!" was added for Rocket Spleef per the theme of the event.
- Introduced a new game, Parkour Tag.
- A nine-round game, in a style of "Tag", where competitors assigned themselves as either runners or hunters.
- The hunters' goal is to hunt other competitors from their opposing team as fast as possible.
- The runners' goal is to survive as long as they can (up to 60 seconds) without being hunted.
- A brand-new Ace Race map, "Python's Crypt" was added, inspired by the old Foot Race map.
- The first tunnel of Terra Swoop Force was added for TGTTOSAWAF.
- Introduction of more practice games on the training server.
- Viewers were able to vote on Twitter to change various parts of the event
- Canal won the vote for which Battle Box map could be played with 30.1% of the votes[2]
- Sky Battle was added to the Decision Dome over Skyblockle with 67.8% of the votes[3]
- It was decided that the slime in Hole in the Wall would be pink colored with 37% of the votes[4]

Trivia
- The 3 weeks between this event and MCC 11 is the second shortest length of time between two events.
- After what happened at the Philippines at the time, TapL and Seapeekay have said on their tweets that they would match the coins they earned on the event to a dollar that they will donate to the people who got affected by the Typhoon Vamco.[7][8]
- TapL earned 2,827 coins, which is 141,350 in total in Philippine Peso.
- Seapeekay said on his tweet that he would donate $1 every time he gets 10 points but if he gets 2500 coins, he will be donating $250. He earned 2,579 coins, which is 123,950 in total in Philippine Peso.
Participation
- This event introduced three new players: Wisp, Illumina, and Punz.
- LaurenzSide was confirmed to return to the event several days before her team was revealed.
- This is the first tournament where Technoblade was absent, since his debut in MCC 2.
- The Pink Parrots were all dressed up in Technoblade skins for this event.
- This was the first regular event, since their debuts in MCC 6 and MCC 7, where Dream, GeorgeNotFound, and Sapnap (i.e. the Dream Team) were not teamed together.
Statistics
- This is the first event in which neither PeteZahHutt or HBomb94 were in Dodgebolt.
- This is the first event where every single player got more than 1000 coins.
- This is also the event with the highest scoring 10th place team.
- This event also has the shortest gap between 1st and 10th place, with 5641 coins.
- This is also the event with the highest scoring 10th place team.
- GeorgeNotFound became the second back-to-back winner after FalseSymmetry in MCC 10.
- In the third round of Hole in the Wall, 11 people won, the most in the event's history.
- This is because they accidentally used the old walls from previous events, meaning that they were easier.
- TapL fell off the map in Round 1 of Dodgebolt, being one of the only few players to ever do so.
