Trivia
- This is the first event to have a dedicated rule video for its new game, Sands of Time.[4]
- The new games prior (Battle Box and Big Sales at Build Mart) only have their explanations on the MC Championship Twitter and the official website.[5][6]
- New games after this would have either their explanation segment in the update video of its debut event or a rule video dedicated to them.
- This event introduced 3 new players: LaurenzSide, cubfan135, and Iskall85.
- Vikkstar123 did not participate in the tournament after this event, leading to people joking that TommyInnit annoyed him out of Minecraft. However, TommyInnit clarified on stream that he DM'ed Vikkstar on Twitter and he said that he was fine with him.
- Vikkstar123 later returned to the tournament in MCC 14 and also played in MCC P21. He teamed with TommyInnit in MCC 14.
Statistics
- This is the first event where players got a second win: Quig first won in MCC 2, and Smajor1995 and Shubble first won in MCC 3.
- The gap between the first and second-place teams was the lowest ever, at just 24 coins.
- In Battle Box, the Aqua Horses were the second team ever to win all 9 matches in Battle Box, after the Blue Bats in MCC 3.
- In Big Sales at Build Mart, the Aqua Horses set a record for the most number of builds completed (14), beating the previous record set by Red Rabbits in MCC 4 (12).
- In Sands of Time, the Orange Ocelots were the first team to run out of time with no one successfully escaping or save any coins at the sphinx, resulting in the team scoring 0 coins, behind Green Guardians which scored 90 coins.
- The individual leaderboard didn't register Quig's score from Parkour Warrior correctly, so he was shown as 1st individual with 3327 coins, above PeteZahHutt with a score of 3683.
- This event introduced the term "pulling a Shubble", referencing Shubble 1v2ing Eret and PeteZahHutt in the final round of Dodgebolt.
- The first 1v2 in Dodgebolt was done by Ryguyrocky in MCC 2.
- During the final round of Dodgebolt, the two teams missed 17 shots in a row.
- PeteZahHutt was the last player to die in both rounds of Dodgebolt.
- PeteZahHutt survived all 3 rounds of Hole in the Wall this MCC, an achievement that was dubbed the "3Pete."
- This feat has never been replicated, though multiple players have won twice.
- This was the 4th event to not have an update video (with the others being MCC 1, MCC 2 and MCC 3)
- As of The Ender Cup, this event is the shortest event in MC Championship history, lasting for only 2 hours, 16 minutes and 40 seconds.
