All the players and teams in MC Championship All-Stars (October 29-30, 2021)
MC Championship All-Stars (also known as MCC AS) was the twenty-second event of MC Championship. It consisted of 40 participants that have won at least an event before. It took place on November 13, 2021, at 8 PM GMT.[1]
As this is a special event, balancing was relaxed to make leeway for more entertaining teams.[2]
An unofficial transcript of the event can be found here, which was made by u/MrOrcaDood and others on Reddit.
Changes
MC Championship All Stars - Update Video (Nov 2021)
The update video[3] was released a day before the event. This event focuses on the 2nd anniversary of the tournament itself, as well as many quality-of-life changes.
- The pool of games in an event was reduced from 10 to 9. The game(s) that were not played in the previous event it was featured in, would come first in the Decision Dome for the next event it is featured in.
- Battle Box's map was changed to Graffiti, a previously unplayed map that had been skipped in MCC 17.
- Ace Race's map was changed to Space Race. There are also lights scattered around the map.
- Hole in the Wall's map was changed to its classic map.
- A new mystery map was added to TGTTOSAWAF which was called "To The Dome!", a map that was similar to the Main Hub.
- The maps in Parkour Tag and Sky Battle remained the same as in MCC 18.
- Big Sales at Build Mart received some bug fixes and accuracy improvements:
- The exact rotation of all blocks is now required to be considered complete (e.g. stairs, open doors, slabs). Texture rotation is not needed to complete the build (e.g. Door hinges in the wrong position still counts towards the completion)
- Double slabs are now identical to their full block counterparts.
- Sands of Time disconnects are now less severe. Competitors who are disconnected will now respawn at the same location (with all of their coins, health, and other items) and are given resistance until the resource pack loads for them.
- TGTTOSAWAF is renamed to "TGTTOSAWAMCCPWHNWAEY" (To Get To The Other Side And Whack An MC Championship Participant Who Has Not Won An Event Yet), with all the competitors who had not won an event yet being the end goal of the map instead of fans.

* KreekCraft replaced
Wisp from Game 3: Grid Runners for the remainder of the event. Their combined score would be 1328, ranked at 36th place.
Trivia
- During the event, Technoblade joined the Pink Parrots' voice chat, logging into the server after Game 8 of TGTTOSAWAF to watch Dodgebolt. This would be the last event to feature Technoblade in the tournament despite not participating in the event.
- Before the event, Dream said in the Discord server he would pay $5,000 to everyone that voted Big Sales at Build Mart in the first Decision Dome. It ended up not being played until Round 5, as almost no one, including the Red Rabbits themselves, voted for the game in the first round.
Participation
- This event featured special event winners Blushi, jojosolos, and KreekCraft.
- This event welcomed back Bitzel who had not competed since MCC 6 and Mini Muka who had not played since MCC 11.
- Three winning teams returned for this event: MCC 1's Purple Pandas, MCC 5's Yellow Yaks, and MCC 9's Blue Bats.
- The Red Rabbits team are known as the 4 Muffinteers.
- Before MCC 18, Tubbo accidentally leaked that this event would be the event after MCC 18, saying, "So I really need to win [MCC 18]; otherwise, I'm gonna have to miss the next one."[5]
- Due to his Internet issues, Wisp was replaced by KreekCraft after Game 3, making this the third event where a team technically had 5 players, after the Pink Parrots in MCC P21 and the Orange Ocelots in MCC 15.
- This was the first time Grian wasn't part of the team with 5 players.
- Before the teams were released, Vikkstar123 and Technoblade were confirmed to not be participating in this event.[6]
- In a YouTube video that was released over a month after the event, Technoblade explained that the reason he had not signed up to participate in this event was because he had been anticipating a serious operation to combat his ongoing cancer that would have rendered him unable to play Minecraft. The operation was later cancelled in favour of alternate treatments, which let him talk with the participants and spectate during the event.[7]
- Alongside those two, four other regular event winners did not participate in the event: Fundy, TapL, Quackity, and Karl Jacobs.
- Because several regular winners did not participate, jojosolos and Blushi were invited in.[8]
Statistics
- The Red Rabbits remained in 1st place in the entire event. The team came in 1st in 5 out of the 8 games. All 4 players finish in the top 10 individually.
- GeorgeNotFound was the only one in the event to get a coin since Sapnap, Dream, and BadBoyHalo had already won a regular event in Season 2.[9]
- jojosolos and Blushi got to experience the 2 games Sky Battle and Battle Box, 2 of the 10 games that got skipped when they were in MCC R. Thus they got to play every game featured in Season 2.
