Changes
MC Championship PARTY!
The update video[2] was released one day prior to the event, which went over the unique scoring for this event. An article[3] was also released which gave a more detailed explaination on how to play the event.
- Instead of Coins being the deciding factor on which teams get into Dodgebolt, it is now Crowns. The two teams who have the most Crowns before Dodgebolt will get to play the game.
- To see more information about this and other party changes, visit this section.

Party Changes
This event introduces changes to the format, where the top 2 teams are now decided by the amount of crowns they have. Teams can now also steal coins and crowns within each other.
- Crowns can be bought in the newly introduced Item Shop to the right of the bridge to the Decision Dome after games 2, 4, 6 and 8.
- Crowns are also awarded at the end of the event based on how well the teams did at the secret objectives throughout the event.
- Players can no longer see the amount of coins other teams have in the main hub, except for the break between games 4 and 5. However, they can still see how many coins other teams have earned in-game.
Item Shop
Item shop is introduced, allowing teams to buy special items every break to influence their team's position and other teams' position. The prices of these items will get higher as the event goes on. It consists of the following:
- Joker Card: Gain additional crowns from a game depending on where your team places, but be careful; you can lose a crown if your team does badly. Teams can activate a Joker in the small window after a game is selected, but before they are teleported.
- Super Joker Card: Supercharged version of the Joker Card.
- Crown Stealer: Steal 2 Crowns from another team.
- Super Crown Stealer: Steal 3 Crowns from another team.
- Coin Stealer: Steal 1,000
from another team.
- Super Coin Stealer: Steal 1,250
from another team.
- Insurance: Insurance will give a team half of what they lost when they get stolen from and protects them from being dunked. The team who shot them will still receive their full award.
- Locked Safe: Earn more coins by doing well in a game.
- Mega Anti-Chicken: It will remove three votes from whichever section of the dial it stops on.
- Four Leaf Clover: Allows teams to buy supercharged versions of items. Handed out to the unluckiest teams after game 4, and it only lasts for one Dome.
- Egg Launcher: Allows teams to shoot an egg containing a chicken every 5 seconds.
- Potato: Allows team to use them to donate to a "donation box". Worth 25
for the donation amount (compared to 30
to purchase)
- Fire Bombs, Crossbows and Mega Chickens were also shown to be purchasable in the shop.
There are also some restrictions for some items:
- All Stealer items are half as effective if they are being shot at a team lower to the team who shot it.
- If a team has been shot twice in a Decision Dome, they get drained, meaning that they can not be stolen from in that Dome event. Their pod also turns grey to indicate this.
Secret Objectives
Secret objectives are introduced to give special crowns at the end of the event. The first placed team in a secret objective gets 2 , while the second team gets 1
. The objectives are as follows:
- Shopping Crown = Awarded to the teams that purchased the most items from the shop.
- Awarded to Cyan Coyotes (1st) and Purple Pandas (2nd)
- Dunker Crown = Awarded to the teams that dunked the most other teams.
- Awarded to Yellow Yaks and Pink Parrots (tied 1st)
- Chicken Killer Crown = Awarded to the teams that killed the most chickens. These chickens can be found in Battle Box, Bingo but Fast, Parkour Tag, and Survival Games.
- Awarded to Blue Bats (1st) and Pink Parrots (2nd)
- Minigame Crown = Awarded to the teams that scored the most unmultiplied coins.
- Awarded to Cyan Coyotes (1st) and Orange Ocelots (2nd)
- Chatterbox Crown = Awarded to the teams that sent the most chat messages.
- Awarded to Pink Parrots (1st) and Cyan Coyotes (2nd)
- Donation Crown = Awarded to the team that donated the most to the donation box. Teams can donate 5
to the box each click or a potato per click (worth 25
) Unlike other objectives, this is for first place only, awarding 3
.
- Awarded to Purple Pandas (1st).
Trivia
- This event is a special celebration of the 4th year anniversary of MC Championship. Coincidentally, this is the 44th event.
Participation
- Sapnap confirmed on stream that he will not be in this event. He mentioned he will take a break for the month.[4]
- FireBreathMan played on the Minecraft account "BlueBats" in this event.
- Ranboo confirmed that this would be their last event. Previously, Ph1LzA and aimsey also initially confirmed it would be their last event in MCC, before returning for next season.
- Ranboo previously mentioned many times that he would be potentially quitting the tournament, however he officially announced his last event would be this event.[5]
- Ph1LzA said that he was not fully into the event anymore and did not want to take up a slot. He played in this event because he promised Smajor1995 that he would play, as well as wanting to get drunk with aimsey.[6] However, he would return in MCC EC, and back in the main roster for MCC HH.
- aimsey later confirmed on December 2nd on Reddit that they will not be participating in any future Minecraft events due to not getting into them as well as not enjoying it as much as they used to. However, they would return in MCC P24, MCC TRE and MCC EC.
Statistics
- This is the first ever event where 3 female players and 1 male player in a team won an event.
- fruitberries, ElainaExe, and hannahxxrose all get a Season 3 coin this event.[7]
- fruitberries went deathless in Battle Box.
