MC Championship Rising is a series of MC Championship events where community members and content creators who have not played in an MC Championship event before are given the chance to participate. There have been 3 Rising events, with the first one being held on October 2, 2021.

Application Process and Requirements[]
Applications are open for limited time after the announcement of the event.
To apply for MCC Rising, creators are expected to meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must be able to stream the event.
- Applicants must form a team of four with other people.
- Applicants must own a copy of Minecraft: Java Edition.
- Applicants must be able to communicate properly with their teammates via Discord voice chat.
- Applicants must have a computer which can run the event smoothly.
- Applicants must submit an application video introducing their team and its members.
There are no minimum subscriber or viewer requirements, meaning both starting and veteran creators can apply for the event. Applicants are given full creative control of their application videos. Once submitted, applications are handled by members of Noxcrew, who will view all valid applications and select 10 teams for the event.

Trivia[]
- MCC R was in fact not the first event to feature video applications and participation from community members, as there were viewer teams in MCC 10.
- MCC Rising creators are given access to a separate training server.
- Unlike the training server for other players, MCC Rising training server is closed days after the event.
- Regular MCC players are able to join the Rising training server as well.
- Hrry and Ravs are the only creators who have played in an MCC event before, with both having done so in MCC JJ.
- Despite this, Jingle Jam is considered as a special event, not a regular.
