MC Championship Rising 3 (also known as MCC R3) was the fiftieth event of MC Championship, and the third event of the Rising series. This event featured creators who had never played in any event before. It took place on September 7, 2024, at 8 PM BST.[1]
Changes[]
MCC Rising 3 - Update Video
The update video[2] was released a day prior to the event, summarising the games to be played in the event.
General Changes[]
- Chickens are no longer stuck on the game signs above the Decision Dome dial when a chicken egg is thrown.
Game Changes and Maps Featured[]
- TGTTOSAWAF's Terra Swoop Force - Tunnel 1, Badlands, To The Dome!, Industry, Walls, and Cliff were featured in this event.
- In additions to this, the "fans" at the end are replaced with the Rising coaches.
- Apart from Terra Swoop Force - Tunnel 1, as part of the remix, all the maps are reversed.
- In Terra Swoop Force - Tunnel 1, players would no longer explode if they touch any water columns.
- Battle Box's map is changed to Thermodynamics, with new kits and some tweaks on the map.
- Grid Runners has two new rooms.
- Hole in the Wall's map is changed to The Labwallatory.
- Ace Race's map is back to Turtle Run, with some updates and reliability changes for tridents to behave like vanilla Minecraft.
- Meltdown received some technical tweaks:
- The sound played after the team was all frozen was changed to the "lockout" sound, instead of the "team eliminated" sound. The "team eliminated" sound will still be played when other teams are eliminated.
- The "TEAM FROZEN" text was also re-added.
- Rocket Spleef Rush's Classic, Santorini and Construction are featured in this event.
- Sky Battle's map was changed back to Candy Land.
- Parkour Warrior's moving blocks now have indicators of where the moving blocks would be. This change was implemented first on MCC Island.[3]
