“ I'll see you all on the other side!
—Technoblade, after dominating in a 1v7 in Sky Battle in MCC 10
Technoblade (Techno) was a former competitor in MC Championship. He was well known for his witty commentary, Minecraft gameplay and his Hypixel content. He was also renowned as one of the best PvPers in the tournament.
He participated in the tournament from MCC 2 to MCC 11 and then briefly returned for MCC P21. His consistency stretches across all fields, never placing below top 9 in any of the events he's played in. He won two times in MCC 4 and MCC 8.
On July 16, 2021, Smajor1995 confirmed on his stream that Technoblade had no plans to play in future tournaments except for possibly non-canon events.[1] He later confirmed Technoblade wasn't going to be playing in MCC AS either.[2] Technoblade later stated that he had not signed up for the event because he had a major operation scheduled meant to combat his then ongoing cancer that would have rendered him unable to play Minecraft. The operation was later cancelled in favor of alternative treatments, allowing him to log in to spectate during the event.[3]
Later on June 30, 2022, his family announced that he had passed away.[4] Part of his death date was later disclosed on Wilbur Soot's stream with the rest of Sleepy Bois Inc. (which are Ph1LzA and TommyInnit) that Technoblade passed on June 2022. However, he did not disclose the day when Technoblade passed away.[5]

Trivia
- Prior to his debut in MCC 2, Wilbur sent the Discord link to invite Technoblade to join the Yellow Chickens' VC during game 8 in MCC 1.
- He was the only player to compete in more than one event and never place below 10th place individually.
- He is the one of the only players to get 1st Individual and never lost a round in Dodgebolt in the same event. The other being Sapnap who got 1st Individual twice and never lost a round Dodgebolt both times as well.
- Other MCC players have accomplished this as well but lost a round in Dodgebolt the next at some they got 1st Individual again.
- MCC 5 was his worst event in terms of coins, scoring 2,707 coins. This makes him the only player to have never scored below 2,700 coins.
- He was statistically the best Skyblockle and Sky Battle player having an average of 688 in Skyblockle and 712 in Sky Battle.
- The only player with a higher coin average in a game is JC The Caster, who scored 950 coins in MCC 1's Survival Games and never played again.
- He has never dropped out of top 3 in Sky Battle.
- He previously held the record for the highest unmultiplied coins in Battle Box, but this was achieved in MCC 7 when more than the usual number of Battle Box rounds were played due to technical failures, and the extra coins were not counted in the team standings.
- The Battle Box record is shared with PeteZahHutt, who also got the record in MCC 7 on a separate team.
- This record was broken by Sapnap in MCC 19 without any glitches.
- In MCC 4, he set the record for the highest amount of coins earned in a single event by one individual (4,307), until it was broken by both Fruitberries (4403) and Purpled (4385) in the same event, that being MCC EC.
- This was also the first time a player earned over 4,000 individual coins in an event.
- He also set the record for the largest point difference between 1st and 2nd with a 994-point gap.
- In MCC 4, his team, the Purple Pandas, got 24,342 coins, becoming the first team to ever get over 24,000 coins.
- It was the highest-scoring team ever at the time, but was later beaten by the MCC 7 Green Guardians who got 25,346 points, 1,004 coins more than Purple's record.
- In MCC 5, he pulled off a 1v3 whilst alone in Survival Games against the Cyan Creepers- Michaelmcchill, CaptainPuffy, and Mefs. He burned to death shortly afterward from lava Mefs had placed.
- In MCC 5, he was the only player to open a vault in Sands of Time. However, he got locked in.
- In MCC 6, the Pink team was renamed the Pink Piglets and the Audience Takeover was renamed Techno Takeover in his honour.
- In MCC 7, he set the record for the most Dodgebolt eliminations in a single match, with 13 kills in total including one ace.
- He has the fastest time (5:14.80) and the three fastest laps (Fastest Lap 1:44.20, Second Fastest Lap 1:44.95, and the Third Fastest Lap 1:45.65) on Ace Race's Clouds Map, all from MCC 11.
- In MCC P21, his team got 3rd place by only 2 coins, losing to the Orange Ocelots, making it the closest coin difference in the tournament's history.
- In MCC 16, players wore lavender ribbons on their Minecraft skins in support of him after his cancer diagnosis.
- He used many strategies that were patched out by the Noxcrew for balancing purposes.
- In MCC 2 Hole in the Wall, instead of going through the holes, he jumped around the edges of the walls. This was fixed by making all walls 1 block larger on each edge.
- During MCC 2 and MCC 3's Lockout Bingo, he hunted down various players to steal already-completed challenge items, leading to his team winning the game, and him getting the most challenge completions in MCC 2. This was fixed in the replacement game, Bingo But Fast, where PvP was disabled.
- Before MCC 7, he reviewed all previous Big Sales at Build Mart VODs and builds, and gave his team members lists of resources they would need to complete all of them. His team collected all resources on the lists first and then built all the builds extremely quickly, securing 1st place after a slow start. This was fixed by using a random collection of builds in the future, with new ones being constantly introduced.
- A death message in Hole in the Wall, "<player> needs to train for another 500 years," is a reference to one of his most famous quotes.
- There is a monument present in the Main Hub in memory of him, added in MCC 23.[6]
- MCC AS is the last event to feature him despite not participating in the event. He joined the Pink Parrots' voice chat, logging into the server after Game 8 of TGTTOSAWAF to watch Dodgebolt.
